Hello,

i am working on a dynamic web project on eclipse using wildfly.

My project has a dependency to another Java Project within eclipse. When i configure the Java Project in the Build Path of my Web Project i get ClassNotFound-Errors on wildfly. The only solution i found is to build the Java Project as jar and put it under the webapps lib-folder.

But this is annoying because i have to export the jar everytime i make changes to my Java Project and sometimes wildfly does not recognize these changes.

Is there any other solution?

Hi,

would "JavaEE module dependencies" help? I don't have access to an Eclipse while writing this reply, but this (rather old) post contains a screenshot: https://www.eclipse.org/webtools/releases/1.5/newandnoteworthy/j2ee.html - the feature was later replaced by "Deployment Assembly": https://mkyong.com/eclipse/eclipse-java-ee-module-dependencies-is-replaced-by-web-deployment-assembly/
I hope this works also for web projects, might be limited to EAR projects.

Best regards

Wolfgang
