Log4j 1 Upgrade for Jboss 5 AS

Hi Everyone

I am looking for the steps how we can upgrade log4j to newer version for Jboss 5 server.

I tried with log4j API adaptor but server.log file is not getting generated, and all the logs are going inside the boot.log file only.

I have placed log4j-api.jar, log4j-core.jar and log4j-1.2api.jar files in jboss/common/lib folder.

Please help me to upgrade log4j2.
