Hello Weed Watchers! We have an inquiry from Helen, the District Botanist on the Cle Elum Ranger District, about the status of weed surveys on the Wapatus Lake Trail – if anyone has the time or ability to plan a late season survey hike to Wapatus Lake, there are reports of Canda thistle and Queen Anne’s lace – it would be great to get some extra eyes on the trail!
Wapatus is a long hike in but as I understand it, a gradual grade. Would be a great overnight. Please let me know if you think you can make it!

Hi Sarah,
I was wondering if you have had anyone go up the Wapatus Lake trail and towards spinola creek? I have two reports of Canada thistle and Queen Anne’s lace I am wondering are still there.
