Hello everyone,
I've just discovered Wildcat CAD. I'm amazed it took so long because
I've been Googling for OpenSource CAD applications for weeks now. This
one only just came up. It looks really good, and I like the look of
the code too.
I'm interested in it because a) I'd love to see a really good free CAD
package. and b) I'm looking for some simple CAD code to include in my
PCB layout editor (
www.liquidpcb.org).
The reason I'm posting here is just to beg that you make the various
functions of Wildcat not too difficult to separate. I've looked at
OpenCascade to see if there's code in there that I can use, and it's
just overwhelming.
It would be great if people could just, for example, make use of the
NURBS library in their own projects, or the constraints solving.
Anyway, I'm trying to build it right now. The .exe crashes (on XP)
shortly after I click on 'new', but without the code I can't really
debug it.
Many thanks for starting this project.
