Hi,

I found out about your project this morning through Ralph Grabowski's
newsletter. I am in awe of your progress. I am lokking to create my
own CAD program, 2D of course to start.

I downloaded the win32 source from SVN and hit F5 in VS8 and got an
error in the shader file. Do you have any compilation instructions
that I could use to test your program? It would help!

Thanks

Hi Sean,
Of course you are welcome to use the code from Wildcat for your
app, but it would be especially great if you decided to contribute
here instead of starting over again.
Ok...let's get you compiling. You really should just need to
download the code and hit F7 (F5 both compiles and runs). Can you
post the compilation error you are getting? If Wildcat starts to run
please post the wildcat.log file that gets generated in the Wildcat
directory.
Until I take a look at the logs it will be tough. I will say that
the shader files shoudn't compile within VS8. They compile at run
time within the OpenGL framework. I may have forgotten to make sure
they were excluded from building in VS8. Again, please post the build
file from VS if you can.

Cheers,
Graham

Hi Graham,

I recompiled the code and the program will launch. However, when I
click on File > New, the program crashes. I took a screenshot but I
can't seem to attach it to this post. Can I email it to you? I hope it
helps. I am running Windows XP SP2 in French if that is any help.

Sean
