Short Bio:
Stephen has developed software for over ten years, first at Amicus,
Inc. and for the bulk of the time at St. Edward's University. In 2005,
he started Downbeats, Inc., an erstwhile metronome manufacturer based
on the concept of wireless synchronization and tactile beats. A patent
was eventually issued but due to licensing problems, development
ceased. The inspiration for Mapnetic came from some HPGL reports at
St. Edward's that rendered ERP data on blocky, print-only maps.
"There must be a better way," he thought. And thus, Mapnetic was born.
