Dear All,

welcome to this google group. I know these groups are old fashioned, but they have the advantage of being searchable, and being compatible with email, so one doesn't need to install special apps to access them.

Some logistics:

- To contact me (Luca), you can use this group, or you can chat me at lu...@ucsc.edu if it is urgent. I am not going to sign on to Slack, because I would not be monitoring it, but you are welcome to use slack among the team members.

- This coming Friday (Oct 18) I cannot be at the team meeting, as I have unfortunately another commitment in Silicon Valley. I will be here for the next meeting.
