Data: gene database import issue

Hello,

I could not able to import the gene database and data import . 

I have downloaded from the database in the .bridge format, but while importing to the Pathvisio software it doesn't appear or couldn't able select the downloaded file.

waiting for your reply, kindly help me to fix this issue.

Hi Girish,

Looks like the download didn't work. Try this instead, which will connect PathVisio directly to the BridgeDb webservice instead of using a downloaded file:

1. In PathVisio, go to "Data > Identifier mapping setup".

2. Click "Add"

3. In the next window, select "BridgeRest webservice" on the left. Next, select your species under "Species". Click "OK".

You should now be able to import your data. Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Girish,

I tried your data and it worked for me. The key is to set the correct identifier type during the import, in your case "Uniprot-TrEMBL". See the attached screenshot.

While exporting in TIFF format, it is showing error ,. like class java.lang.noclassdeffounderror 

Could you please help me with this ?
