Need help in altering the pathway

Hello wikipathway 

                     Im a PhD student who is working on structural biology. I got stuck in pathway alteration where i need to knock out a gene and analyse whether that function is happening or not. Is it possible to work on Pathvisio and can i analyse the results by uploading the KEGG pathway in specific format.

Hi,

PathVisio can't open pathways from KEGG directly, unfortunately. You could see if there's a pathway at WikiPathways that covers the same content as what you're interested in, which you can then edit the pathway in PathVisio for downstream analysis.
