Upload local file is not working on WikiPathways.org

Hi all,

There's a problem with uploading pathways on the site that I reported on Slack the other day, see screenshot below. Basically, trying to upload a local gpml file results in an error saying "no file detected". This was reported by a couple of users and I have confirmed it in multiple browsers.

Short story:

Upload via the PV plugin works fine, so if we can't fix this error, maybe we should just disable the option?

Long story:

In an effort to gather more information, here are messages from the Console:

Warning message:

"Form contains a file input, but is missing method=POST and enctype=multipart/form-data on the form. The file will not be sent." (Firefox)

Error:

"Uncaught SyntaxError: expected expression, got '<'" (Firefox and Chrome)

Any ideas on what could be causing this? Should we just disable file upload?
