Did you know that a special set of pathways from WikiPathways are featured in Wikipedia articles? They are embedded as interactive maps connecting 200 different human gene and pathway articles. These pathways are collectively viewed over 50,000 times PER DAY at Wikipedia! That's more views than we get at WikiPathways in a MONTH.

Check them out and click on the blue-linked nodes:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acetyl-CoA#Interactive_pathway_map
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fluorouracil#Interactive_pathway_map

If you have suggestions for new pathways that you think would enrich a Wikipedia article, please let us know!  We carefully curate this pathway set to make sure we are being good "wikipedians", i.e., the pathway needs to be of central relevance to the article.

This work was done in collaboration with GeneWiki [1] and the Molecular and Cellular Biology WikiProject [2].
