This is the final release of version 1.0 of PathVisio, the new tool for
biological pathway visualization and editing. This release has been
tested thoroughly and is deemed reliable enough for everyday use.
This goes for both standalone PathVisio (available from
http://wiki.bigcat.unimaas.nl/pathvisio/Download) and the integrated
wikipathways applet (available at http://www.wikipathways.org, when
editing any pathway).
What has changed
================
As promised we did a lot of testing since release candidate 3, and a few
annoying bugs were found and fixed, such as:
- An issue where PathVisio sometimes stops responding to keyboard
commands is now fixed.
- The multi-select key was changed from ctrl to shift to accommodate
users deprived of a second mouse button (on a mac, ctrl is used to
simulate a right-click)
- Undo-ing delete operations was not possible before, this is now fixed.

Known issues
============
* PathVisio Webstart doesn't work on the Mac OS X Operating System (but
the wikipathways site works fine)
* For more info see our bug tracker at

I'd like to thank everybody who has helped out with finding and fixing
bugs in the last couple of months, in particular Susan Coort, Thomas
Kelder, Kristina Hanspers, Alex Pico and Stan Gaj.
regards,
Martijn van Iersel,
