New online basic wiki editing skills training opportunity

First of all, Happy New Year to all of you!. May this coming year be the beginning of something that you look with pride.

 

I would like to take this opportunity to also thank all those of you who have taken us up on our free training opportunity on basic wiki editing skills, which often formed the basis of a new activity. We have seen an enormous number of participants taking this training  and becoming dedicated and committed WikiEducators and we would like to thank each one of you for the great work you have done. The future is in your hands and all will depend on what you decide to do, to make your seeds grow.

 

Many of you have taken it a step further and are in the middle of launching very important, country specific initiatives that will make all the difference to the people who will benefit from your efforts. Continue to spread the word, so others too can take part.

 

At the same time, I would like to let you know that we are happy to announce the first online training this year, starting on January 26, and running through to February 6, 2009.
