[[link_file_name|display title]]
Here is my suggestion
[link_name]() >>> only link
[[display_title](link_file_name)] >>>much more like markdown

I like your suggestion, but the double square brackets is quite ubiquitous for internal links. Notational Velocity supports it now, and I'd like to make an update soon(ish) that allows support for its syntax which uses the filename like [[My awesome page of stuff]] in addition to the WikiPack format which is [[MyAwesomePageOfStuff]].
