Hallo, I'm having some troubles syncing to dropbox.
Is it possible to edit dropbox data somewhere?

Thanks
Kim

Hi Kim,

Thanks for posting your question here. I've looked into it, and it
seems that you had created an account back in December 2011 and
selected /trunksync as your wiki folder. Back then, there was an issue
where WikiPack wasn't checking to make sure that the selected folder
contained Markdown files, and several people had the same problem. Now
it makes sure the folder you choose actually has Markdown files in it,
so you'd have to select /trunksync/notes to import a wiki from Trunk
Notes.

I see you've created a new account using the template folder and added
a few pages to it, and it doesn't seem to be having the same Dropbox
sync issues. Do you still want to import your Trunk Notes wiki? I can
reset your wiki folder for you if you like so that next time you log
in it will let you browse your Dropbox and choose /trunksync/notes.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Regards,
mark

Hi, thanks for your Quick reply.
I started a new login and used the template files and the default folder -no problem!
At the moment i'm playing around with the software, before I actually imports my wiki-files.

Please delete the account from december and everything seems fine.

Thanks In advance
Kim

In line with the super-useful feature of re-linking pages upon their renaming, do you plan to add more features that take place server-side? Because I'd love it if you created the ability to establish Index/Tag pages that auto-update with a list of pages that are linking to it (which could give rise to a class of special pages).

Sure, I'm always open to ideas about how to improve WikiPack. Have you used Trunk Notes at all? http://www.appsonthemove.com/trunk.htm It has a lot of extra functionality, like tags and special functions to generate a list of links like you mention. WikiPack shows all the inbound links to each page at the bottom, but it just strips out the metadata without acting on it, and it doesn't support any of Trunk Notes' special functions yet.
