1 Indian organizational cooperation
====================================
Moving ahead for a three day workshop October 24-26. We should have
formal agreement in place next week, at which time we can talk about who
exactly we are working with, but the event will be a three day workshop
with 10-20 local tutors and technology developers focused on the basics
of building lessons on Wikiotics and on modifying existing materials to
the local environment.

2 NY Workshop planning
=======================
Dates for the fall workshop are finalized! We will be running a one day
workshop on Oct 13 in New York City at the Adelphi University Manhattan
campus. The event will run from ~10-4 and focus on building as much
introductory English language material as possible for use by juinor
highschool students. This material will be bundled together into an
collection of static html pages to be used offline in a Kids on
Computers (http://www.kidsoncomputers.org/) computer lab in Mexico. All
those in the NY region are welcome to join and we will be providing
vegetarian dim sum and raffling off some technology goodies to
participants. More details to follow on Monday.

3 Kids on Computers partnering
===============================
They seem interested and happy we will be running the Oct event to
build materials for their new deployment. In discussions about joining
LLT as institutional partner.

3.1 Ian will reply to their questions

3.2 TODO make sure foundation's mission statement is more readily
findable on wikiotics.org site
Add the mail address, name of board members, and that sort of
stuff too

4 oDesk contributor progress
=============================
- Working with previous contractor to write scripts for future
lessons. (https://wikiotics.org/en/LLT-A1-Stage1-CoverageMap)
- Newly completed lesson

5 P2PU progress + creation of reddit university
================================================
- p2pu continues to grow followers but few actually participating.
Ian will add weekly lessons that he creates and documents as they are built.
- ~10 language classes with 600-1500 participants each
- worth reaching out to and including in notice of documentation
work done for p2pu

6 Visual editor progress
=========================

6.1 Aloha-editor licensing requirements
GPLv2 or later version.

6.2 Local development version running
Much lighter than default version we used last week, running into
deployment issues moving the local version to the server.

6.3 require.js discussion
Does much the same work that django-compressor does for our other
code. It has no focus on django and does not handle versioning, which
django-compressor does, so we would go backwards in features if we
started using it for non-aloha code. Perfectly fine for aloha though
since it is required.

6.4 Next steps are:
- fixing the deployment problems
- adjusting the plugins we want in aloha
- throw in our wiki linking plugin

Time frame depends on difficulty of deployment bugs and the unknown.

7 Indexing progress
====================
Laurent's realtime indexing patch to be deployed today.
