Feature Request: Search Bar

I doubt this add-on is still being developed, since it was last updated over a year ago, but I just installed it and would like to make a request:

I'd like to be able to type into a search bar, like in QuickWiki, instead of only being able to look up text within a page. I often want to quickly look up things that I didn't see on any webpage.
