Use plug-in for laser cutter

I wonder if the WikiHouse plug in could be used on a smaller scale.  I have a laser cutter and I use Skethup with a SVG export plug-in to get the files I need for the laser cutter.  But the wikihouse plug-in looks much better.  If it accepted 1/8" and 1/4" plywood, I might be able to use it for this.

BTW - I saw the Sketchup WikiHouse structure at Maker Faire NY, it was very impressive.
