CNC Services
I've noticed there are a few people joining from CNC workshops (possibly also just for general interest - because if you have a CNC machine you're probably thinking about this sort of stuff anyway and have key knowledge) But I thought I'd start a basic thread, so if you would like to make people aware of CNC cutting services (wherever, UK, US..) as well taking part in more general project, please do reply with a link / perhaps a quick baseline of prices etc. in this thread.)

Our shop operates at $1US/per minute for cutting, milling, rapid prototyping.  3axis CNC and desktop 3D printer.

-tooling and job setup (any design work, tool-pathing)  costing are done per individual job

- contracts can also be negotiated for part manufacturing and custom work

Hope this is not out of context:

two months ago we started FabHub.io, a directory of (professional) digital manufacturing service providers. The platform still needs plenty of work but we have more & more fabricators and makers signing up organically. It's a free listing site & quoting engine.
It should become a good source to find professional makers for Wikihouses around the world.

We've developed FabHub as a source to develop a network of makers for OpenDesk.cc - commercializing open source furniture (and our day job to pay the rent).

Second source I can recommend is themakermap.com

If you're a maker I suggest signing up on both - each have a distinct audience.

If anyone is reading this and has a CNC machine in Washington State in the US, go ahead and post your details.

I'm the Toronto area of Canada and have a CNC router as well as a shop full of other equipment.

Neat idea here. I am currently working on a similar project.
