Migration to Wikiversity?

Dear WE list, 

Is there any discussion about migrating wikieducator to wikiversity, now that there has been a decision to shut down the main site? 

If there is interest, I'm keen to help ensure that happens.  At any rate the sites and their history should be preserved for posterity.

I just recently was inquiring about taking over the domain/hosting and
trying to keep WikiEducator alive (and get it updated!) as more of a
community project.

I hadn't considered wikiversity as an option, since the communities feel
different. But perhaps we are more "archival" now. A lot of the
interesting content on WikiEducator relies on some idosyncratic
templates and a modest Widget library which would take some consideration.

We can recreate any templates.  If someone wants to compile a list of useful widgets and examples of where they are used, that could help narrow down the widget question.  

There are only 53 and many are deprecated.
