Hi All

Not sure where this should go but as the 3rd party media initiative
moves forward, it must include compliance with the requirements set
out in the Americans with Disabilities Act. Technically no American
educator can offer media that isn't fully accessible. For audio and
video that requires a transcript accompany the media.

While many American educators are not familiar with these requirements
or choose not to be in compliance, they are running the risk of being
sued. The California Community College system is particularly
sensitive to this issue, because they have been sued.

Please include the ADA requirements in whatever media standards are adopted.
