Seminar on Open Access to Education at AND College

I am glad to inform that Acharya Narendra Dev College has been selected as one of the ‘Open Access Competition Winners’ amongst the ten institutions worldwide by the INASP (International Network for the Availability of
Scientific Publications), United Kingdom to celebrate the
Open Access Week.
As part of the celebrations AND college is organizing a one-day
National Seminar ‘Teaching Redefined: Open access to Education’ on November 1, 2011 in
the college Conference room .
The seminar is being organized for all educators, primarily faculty of different colleges of University of Delhi, with an aim to create awareness about the importance of open access to learning opportunities by sharing knowledge and learning resources. The talks by eminent personalities in this field would focus on open access from academicians’ perspective, open source soft skills, OERs, Licensing on educational material, Copyright/Copyleft, etc.
All of you are cordially invited to attend the event. The poster and the registration form are attached herewith for your reference. You are further requested to pass the information to your colleagues and display it on your institution notice boards as we would like a particpation from all streams of different institutions.
