Reverse title mark up

I have a feeling this was discussed before, or may even be an option,
but I've searched and found nothing...

Can the mark up for titles be reversed, so that + is the lowest level
of heading <h6>, and ++++++ the highest <h1>

I use low level headers a lot to break up the page, and find myself
having to type many +s, where I only ever use one top level heading,
so the inconvenience of typing ++++++ only happens once.
