How and When are New Features Added to Wikidot OS?

I was just testing the latest revision of Wikidot OS and was
disappointed to find that some new features that are available on
Wikidot.com are not yet part of the open source version. Specifically,
I tested the latest changes to the NewPage module. tags= and parent=
aren't yet available in the OS version (or are not working properly).

At what point do these new features get added? I understand that you
wouldn't want to add any Pro features to the OS version, but I'd like
to see new features added as they are added to wikidot.com's free
service.

Does some kind of feature list exist that shows what is currently
active in the OS version? If it doesn't exist, I'd like to see it
created and would be more than happy to help maintain it. It gets
tedious trying to test each module to see if new features are
implemented yet.
