The area of Information Advocacy that most interests me is in helping to fill the gap that many low income people face in the area of personal support resources. These resources might be called "Social Capital" from one perspective, or may simply reflect a person's capacity for  "Networking."

I would like your help collecting a list of Internet (or community-based) resources that Information Advocates can call upon to serve the needs of their communities.

Certainly these include the ever popular Google search tool. And of course Craig's List is an important source of resource information.

Here are links for these and other resource services.

Please review what I have included here and add to it. If you wish, please ask me for a password to edit Wikidelphia so you can add material to the Information Advocate's Notebook directly. An ever growing list of resources will be useful in planing for an informational program to help Information Advocates to become familiar with the many resource tools and the techniques needed to use them.
