Are you passionate about serving your community?
Do you want to help people to connect with other people to make
living, working, and raising a family easier or more
interesting?
Introducing a totally new way for people to help their
neighbors!
Information Advocates listen to people, write down what
they hear, and help other people learn what they heard.
Information Advocacy isn't for news, or gossip... it is a
new way for helpful, trustworthy people to bring together the needs,
resources, and interests in their community so that people can help
each other.
If you are interested in serving your church, community organization,
school, or the people on your block as an Information Advocate,
please join with us to create a network of Information Advocates
serving communities across Philadelphia.
A city-wide conference will be held Friday May 25th in the
Skyline Room of the Central Library.
The morning session, 9 am till noon, is for everyone. After a
"networking" lunch break, small group sessions, 1 pm till 4
pm, are for you if you wish to help plan the network.
