Hi all,
We are currently working on a project that heavily relies on Wikipedia-based semantic relatedness measures. Not surprisingly, WikiBrain seems to be particularly interesting, as it implements several of these measures. However, some things were not entirely clear: which measures exactly are included in WikiBrain and can all measures be used independently?
Thanks a lot,
Bas Cornelissen

Hi Bas,

I'm glad you found WikiBrain! Yes, in theory each measure can be run independently, or they can be combined into a linear ensemble. The usability of SR (from a training perspective) is suffering right now, because each algorithm has strengths and weaknesses. The next release - due out in a few weeks - will target this gap. In the meantime, I'm happy to help point you in the right direction.

Can you let me know a little more about exactly what you're trying to do?

-Shilad
