Hi,

I have installed wiki2latex as an extension to a MediaWiki (1.14.0)
and now receive the error message below whenever I try to save a page:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 20971520 bytes exhausted (tried to
allocate 30720 bytes) in /srv/mediawiki-1.14.0/extensions/w2l/
w2lCore.php on line 76

Any ideas?

Thanks, Manfred

Hi,

are you using w2l 0.9.2? If so, then it's odd, because w2lCore
shouldn't even be loaded when a page is saved. There might be a memory
limit, which is too low. 64 MB should be a good starting point.

Another possibility might be, that there is a incompatibility with MW 1.14.

But my guess would be a too low memory limit.

Hope this helps. If not, you'd have to wait some days, as I plan to
release the next version in the next few days and chances are, that
this bug is fixed by some changes I made.

That's great news. I'll test it asap.

Hi,

after some checking I found out, that this error might be caused by
too much memory usage in other parts of the code. I will check, if
there is a chance that this happened here or if there are ways to
reduce memory usage of W2L.

Best regards,
HG
