Hey All,
Thanks so much to those who came out to the WiggTrans Meeting last night. It was an incredibly productive meeting with a lot of next steps to make happen and we could use all of your help in the process of rolling some of this stuff out.
Here are some of the things we will be moving forward with. If anyone is particularly interested in something here, please give a holler and we will include you in all future correspondence related to the activity.
- WIGG TRANS NEXT STEPS
- Fix Fell Now Petition (everyone interested)
- Revise petition (Attached for your reading pleasure)
- Reach out to Fix Masonic Organizers to learn about successful petitioning practices
- Roll out out outreach strategy to get petition signed by 1,000 neighbors
- Hit the streets
- Generate media buzz
- Present signed petition to city officials, bicycle coalition, other powers that be
- Duboce Ave Streetscape Improvement Advocacy
- Brainstorm a "train approaching" lighting system for Duboce/Church intersection (everyone interested)
- Demarcated Duboce Ave Bicycle Lane (Ben)
- "Welcome to the Wiggle" creative signage with Duboce Triangle Neighborhood Association (Morgan)
- Communication with SFBC/David Baker & Associates (Morgan)
- Reach out to Andy Thornley and David Baker & set up a meeting to discuss recent Wigg Party activities and cohesion between organizations
- Wiggle demarcation
- Reach out to Reskilling Working Group to co-coordinate milk paint creation project to enhance Wiggle demarcation strategies (Dave B)
