FT-IR moved

Hey,

 

Andrew and I moved the FT-IR and it’s working great (in transmission). Big thanks to him and also Amit for helping us lift it.

 

As I said, it’s ready to go for the hot cell and other transmission applications. However, the service engineer still does not know what is wrong with the ATR accessory. He thinks we might have been sent a defective crystal so he’s getting us a new one. That will probably take a couple weeks so if you need ATR, talk to Heather about the shared one on the first floor. Again, if you see anything unusual in transmission mode, please tell me immediately.
