Hello and thanks for your apps.
I installed them because in my home I have a single SSID but one main router and one repeater. Sometimes, my wifi connects to the repeater when the signal is weaker than the main router. It seems that your app is the only one out there to perform a switch within a single SSID. At least for me between SSID is not an issue.
I am testing with a Note 3 phone on Android 4.4.2. So I am hoping your apps will work here.
I have tried both with mixed results. However, I am not really sure which one I should be using. On its Play Store page, Wifi Strongest Signal says 'This is a new improved app called "Wifi Roaming Fix".'
But a post in the forum here you write, 'Version 2 of "Wifi Strongest Signal' is now called "Wifi Roaming Fix".
Also it seems like Wifi Roaming Fix offers additional functionality like sensitivity control.
When using Wifi Strongest Signal, is there any way to control the sensitivity? It seems like there are many times when I feel the switch should occur but it does not.
Also, in using Wifi Roaming Fix, it seems that there is alot of changes happening with the notification (and I suppose to other things within the app). In some places in my home, the signals from both router and wifi have near equal strength. Does this cause confusion inside the app? How does the app decide which to use?
Also in this forum is mention of a beta version. Is this still available and if so, how is it different?
Happy new year!
