Samsung not working / Sony and Lenovo work fine.

Hello,

I’ve 3 Acces Points in following configuration:

I found that under Android roaming functions poorly.

I started using ‘Wifi Roming Fix’. On a Sony Xperia X3 and a Lenovo Tab 3 Pro it works well. On a Samsung S5 mini duos (SM-G800H; Android 4.4.2), it doesn’t work or again very poorly: When near a different AP, the app on the S5 tries to connect to the nearer AP, but it keeps on being referred back to the original AP.

If I switch off wifi and then back on, The S5 connects immediately to the stronger AP. Walking back to the other and I’ve the same issue there.

I tried the suggestions:

• -          time stays the same, so app isn’t closed
  
• -          i did forget the SSID and reconnected using the WPAkey. After that Wifi Roaming Fix still wasn’t able to change AP’s
  
• -          I see no difference in the 3 connection methods
  
• -          changing scan period to 10 seconds didn’t make any difference
  
• -          i’m not aware I’m running other apps. Actually I rebooted the phone several times and tested after fresh boot. Same problem persists.
  
• -          AP’s are not overlapping, See the table above
  
• -          Other Android devices work well with the app, so network is well configured.
  

Is this a known issue with S5 mini duos? Is there a solution?
