Hi all. Ok, well not all, since I'm posting this a little before this
place gets announced, but to everyone who's ABOUT to be here, welcome.
As noted in the description, this is a place to discuss any and all
topics relating to the Wieslander Vegetation Type Mapping project and
its associated data. I'm Ken-ichi, and I'm staff member in the Kelly
Lab at UC Berkeley. I helped organize the modern digitization effort,
and I manage the website.

I'd like to emphasize that this is NOT an official support forum. We
don't have the resources to support all issues and problems that come
up. Think of this more as a forum where the entire user base (myself
and the rest of the people behind this project included) can discuss
issues relating to the project. I will try to answer questions that
come up when I can, but neither I nor anyone else on the team will be
able to answer every question. But just because we can't reply to
everything doesn't mean we're not interested! We'd love to know how
you feel about the data and the website, issues that come up, and
especially how you're using the data. So post away!
