I'm looking for an early 70's song with the lyrics "while I'm alive, I will survive". It is NOT the one by Gloria Gaynor.I've looked for it everywhere but had no success. I remember it as being fairly dramatic and think it may have been performed by a small choir. Have to say it was almost 55 years ago so I think my chances, even here, are likely to be slim. I've been doing research on Google to find an electric Pop song. It has a beat like 80s and 90s Pop and dance/disco and is sung by a male. It makes me think of Enrique Iglesias' big hit "I Like It". The song has a great beat and rhythm to play at parties and celebrations and would be a type of song you'd hear in disco rooms and night club dance halls back in the 1980s and 1990s.
The song ends with the singer saying "Oooo baby just hit me again" about 4 times before he says "Let it go" and the song ends. The chorus has a line that sounds like "I'm ready for tonight's role, Let it go".
