DONATIONS ROLLING IN TOWARDS 2009 ASA-USA MEDICAL MISSION TO ANAMBRA STATE, NIGERIA

Good Stewards,

On behalf of ASA-USA Medical Mission, Ndi Anambra State, Ndi Igbo and Nigeria in general, the real beneficiaries of our labour of love, I would like to congratulate the following:

GAKEZE (Travel Like a King) Travel Agency owned and operated in Boston by Chuks Ezewusie for donating $200, through the efforts of Mr. John Obegolu.

ASA-USA Medical Mission has elected to retain Gakeze Travel Agency as our travel agent this year. Its owner, Mr Ezewuzie, a native of Ekwulobia is based in Boston. Gakeze's phone number is  (781) 589-6200  ,  (781) 605-2655

Mrs Vivian Okoro of Raleigh North Carolina via Nsugbe, a yearly Medical Mission participant, for donating $100, through the efforts of Chief Tony Idigo, Ikolo Aguleri.

Dr & Mrs Onor of Baton Rouge via Nise in Anambra State, a yearly ASA-USA Medical Mission participant for donating $500, through the efforts of John Obegolu.

Mr Meshack Okpala, ASA-USA Financial Secretary, a yearly ASA-USA Medical Mission participant, for donating $100 plus all the sacrifices and lost wages for three weeks every year.

Azubuike Okpalaze. Thank you for your $100 donation. We appreciate you. Our people appreciate your love for them.

Chief Ezeani Achusim, a proud son of Ukpor, donated additional $100. You will recall he has already donated $500 last month.

Mr Sobenna Dunu, Fresno via Ozubulu donated $50 through the efforts of Bernard Okwelogu. Thank you for your passion for community service.

Mr Uwadi Uwaoma, Efughilamba 1, President Igbo Association of Central California, Fresno donated $100 through the efforts of Bernard Okwelogu. We appreciate your action and servant leadership & philosophy:  "Community service / volunteerism is payment for the air we breathe". Food for thought!

These donations will go a long way in providing months of maintenance therapy for people at home suffering from chronic diseases. If everybody reading this email emulates above individuals, our financial goal for 2009 ASA-USA Medical Mission will be met tonight.

I am calling on all men and women of Goodwill to stand and be counted. The "harvest is plentiful but the labourers are few" You know who we labour for? Won't you volunteer for this year's Medical Mission or volunteer your money instead? If you plan to help us help our people this year, NOW IS THE TIME as timely purchase / shipment of drugs and supplies cannot wait.

I am appealing to all ASA-USA leadership, membership and well-wishers to "CASH IN" on your influence and Goodwill by asking your friends, business partners and  EMPLOYERS to make a tax-deductible donation (cash and supplies) towards 2009 ASA-USA Medical Mission to Anambra State, Nigeria. You will be amazed at the response you will get for just asking. Do it for the least among us, the poor and the sick at home. Let us turn our passion to assist our people into action by collectively throwing ropes of hope to the poor and sick drowning in  poverty and disease at ground zero.

"Ours is a call of hope and capacity. It envisions individuals, Families, communities working together to bring about in a lasting way conditions that upgrade all aspects of health that include physical, emotional, economic, social, environmental and spiritual well being. No calling is higher and I have not been taking it lightly, neither should you". Dr. Chris Emeka Uddoh
