THERE SHALL BE NO GENERAL ELECTIONS IN 2023 UNDER THE IMPOSED FRAUDULENT 1999 CONSTITUTION – NINAS Tells the UN

The Nigerian Indigenous Nationalities Alliance for Self-determination (NINAS) has organized a Million-man March on the grounds of the United Nations Headquarters in New York, USA to coincide with the 76th General Assembly of the world body to last between September 14-24, 2021. To kick off the protest march, a prepared statement was read by the Secretary-General of NINAS, Mr. Tony Nnadi, to tell the world why it is necessary to bring an urgent message to the august body about an imminent catastrophic collapse of the Nigerian state caused by a breakdown of security accompanied by widespread violations of citizens human rights through arbitrary killings by the world’s top two deadliest terrorist groups, the Boko Haram and Fulani herdsmen militia.

The six-point official statement by NINAS includes a warning about the intentions of ISIS, Al Qaeda and their West African clone, ISWAP, to relocate the epicenter of their Islamist terrorist agenda to the countries that share the Lake Chad Basin. The ongoing ethnic cleansing within Nigeria, if allowed to get out of hand, can engender a refugee crisis of the type that the world has not witnessed in recent times. The negative economic consequences of the crises in Nigeria have combined to turn Africa’s most populous country into the poverty capital of the world despite the huge revenues earned from the export of 3 million barrels of crude oil daily.

The NINAS’ statement informs the UN about the ongoing Constitutional Force Majeure (CFM) proclaimed by the majority stakeholders of Nigeria on December 16, 2020 with a 5-issue demand that includes the jettisoning of the current imposed fraudulent 1999 Constitution and immediate commencement of a political transition process that shall culminate in Referendums. The Fulani-controlled administration of President Muhammadu Buhari believes that it possesses all it would take to bamboozle the instruments of the UN into allowing it to ride roughshod over the will of 200 million Nigerians whose future is being terribly jeopardized by the insecurity of their lives and properties.

The UN is now properly notified that there shall be no general elections in 2023 under the subsisting imposed fraudulent 1999 Constitution as scheduled by the INEC because of the universal repudiation and repudiation of that military ordinance by the country’s electorate. The NINAS document is signed by the principals representing the leaders of stakeholders of the Yoruba, Lower Niger and the Middle Belt.
