Widget Development Contest

Any objections to me postponing the deadline for the Widget development
contest by a few weeks (mid August?).

As I mentioned earlier, Sang Shin's JavaFX course will be covering
WidgetFX, and it would be nice to let folks who have just finished
learning it have a chance to submit entries into the contest.

Also, I can use some help testing out the submission process, so if
someone has the bandwidth this weekend, give it a try (even if it is not
the final version). Thanks!

Fine for me with extending the deadline.

I saw that the widget to submit must be open source so I'll have to wait a week with testing that process.

Just to clarify on the open-source requirement...  that is only for widgets that are hosted on the WidgetFX server (jar/jnlp files).  Commercial widgets can also be submitted, but you must specify a jnlp file to your own server.

For the widget development contest, submitting source code is required, so we can validate that it is your own original work.  If your widget is open-source this is super-easy.  If it is proprietary you will have to send the source to me directly and trust that I will not share it.  :-)
