Notice
Teens Talk, the TC Williams club behind the Keep it 360 teen pregnancy campaign, is sponsoring a panel discussion with current and former teen parents, answering your tough questions about what it's really like to be a mother or father at a young age. We'll have food, desserts, prizes, giveaways, and more, and it is free with no registration required. It's in the Blackbox after school on Tuesday, May 15th, from 3:35 to 4:15, so take 30 minutes and bring your friends to enjoy this great event. Hope to see you all there!

Synopsis
The one thing that will stay the same for the next seven days will be temperatures--if current model trends hold up, they look to stay around the mid-70s all week, so it will be comfortable but none too hot. However, our long dry period will end with a pattern shift Sunday into Monday, as a cold front settles across our region. This will bring several waves of upper-level disturbances across the area, resulting in chances for clouds, showers, and rain through the middle of the week, along with depressed temperatures and breezy winds. As this finally dissipates Thursday, another spate of dry weather will be possible thereafter.

Day-By-Day Forecast

Tomorrow/Saturday: Tomorrow and the first day of the weekend look like virtual carbon copies, both with relatively clear skies and temperatures in the seventies. The only noticeable difference will be slightly cooler temperatures tomorrow, with low-mid 70s brought on by a north breeze. Saturday will feature mid-upper 70s, with increasing clouds near the end of the day.

Sunday: A cold front will approach the region, but all we'll see of it is increasing clouds and a very slight chance of some showers late. Temperatures will stay warm, in the mid-upper 70s.

Monday-Wednesday:
As the cold front settles in, we we'll see a decent chance of some showers move through each day along with plenty of clouds. Temperatures mid-70s throughout, with a slight chance of a few storms Tuesday and Wednesday, but nothing much to worry about on that front. It'll just be pretty dreary, although the mild temperatures will soften the blow a little.

Thursday: It looks like we will be back into our more familiar dry weather pattern, with generally sunny skies and temperatures in the upper seventies as the front clears out. We could see some breezy winds, but otherwise rather placid conditions.

Extended: Generally similar weather conditions to Thursday looks to continue for most of the following seven days, with relatively dry conditions and warmer temperatures throughout. This will not likely aid our current semi-drought conditions.

That's all, folks.

Enjoy the next few days, although not too much--we'll likely be seeing quite a lot more of them to come after the coming three-day spate of rain comes to a close.
