Worked out a scenic, pine needle / roots trail that adds .23 mi to the missing .2 mi from by passing the now labeled "No Trespassing" scout camp.

It has a few subtle trail breaks so best if I show interested runners in person. Pretty unmarred by "controlled" burn pine trees.

Leaves and returns to soccer field ridge segment to north.

That sounds interesting.  Will we need to use it if we decide to run on June 18th?

Here is the route showing both going through the camping area and
bypassing it to the north. It looks about the same distance either
way. The total is 8 laps for 30.02 miles (3.75 per lap).

Thank you very much, Matt.

I'm still unsure which date I will run.  I like to hear from any others that want to run - please let me know your preference as to which day: Sunday, May 28 or Saturday, June 18.
I will be running the full 50 either way.  I'll decide at the end of the first day if I will be coming back for the next day's 100.
Of course, every year I plan on running the 200....

Richard

June 18. I want to discourage anyone from running on Memorial Day
weekend after I told the park I was canceling. That's why I'm not
going to list any times run before June 1.

I understand.  After all those years of faithfully putting on a great race, the least I can do is to help you out whenever I can.
I'll see you on Saturday, June 18.

Matt has a valid point. The Park Rangers are on full alert for any sign of an organized event.

Having said that, if an individual, solo, keeps their cooler in the trunk, no using a table & shelter, runs trail apart from any group of runners, then likely no drama.

It is, after all, a public park.

Just my two cents worth.
