Wickham Trail Runners:

Here are just three photos of dozens of trees down. But hey the trail entry has been sodded.

The fire break roads have been cleared, however who knows when the trails will be opened! 😒

All course trails are blocked at some points ... can scramble under or around some blockages or use fire break roads as a bypass.

I skipped the youth camp as scouts are cleaning up downed trees. I also skipped shiggy lane, albeit I'm sure there are downed trees here and there.

All trails and roads are dry.

I'm starting my training tomorrow by running around my yard with a concrete block in one hand while beating myself with a stick with the other hand.  Maybe with that training I'll set a new course record.

Of course, I'm guaranteed a first place finish if I continue to be the only one finishing the 50 miles.

If anyone out there is up to the challenge to run me into the ground next year - I will be delighted with the company.  If not - oh, well, another first place finish.
