Taking the new fire break to the left staying safely to the north of the canal tallied 3.55 miles on my Garmin. No alligator sightings.

I'm sure Matt can locate .2 mile of prime trail to build out his course to 3.75 miles prior to his 200 mile fun run over Memorial weekend.

To Matt Mahoney, R.D. and all my FL ultra-running friends-
Due to a schedule conflict, I will not be able to attend Wickham Park Marathon, 50, 100, and 200 Mile Fun Run this year.
I do hate to miss out... especially when I have tried for three years and have come so close to finishing the 100! Next year.

We're REALLY going to miss you, Cheryl. Just when I think I'm ahead of you, you ALWAYS lap me. Yes, you drive me crazy - but it's part of what makes Wickham Park so fun. It helps keep my mind off the suffering. Oh, well, with John getting faster maybe he can take your place. But just for this year!

Thanks Richard! When I say "I hate to miss", I mean it... I REALLY hate to miss. I just wasn't thinking when I created this schedule conflict!! But next year I will not let this happen!
