to WicketForge
Today I upgraded to IDEA 10.0.3 from 10.0.2. In the process, my
WicketForge plugin was updated from 0.8.2 to 0.9.1.
Unfortunately this seems to have exposed a less than awesome behavior.
This has happened in the past and I don't recall what I did to fix it
(perhaps just upgrading my plugin version did so), but at the moment,
every time I type text into an HTML page, especially when adding new
HTML elements or new lines, the gutter jitters back and forth. It's
extremely distracting. It appears that this jitter is perhaps due to
WicketForge parsing the page and removing and then re-adding the blue
circular Class icon that resides in the gutter. I know that this
jitter I due to WicketForge because if I uninstall the plugin, it goes
away.
This constant screen shake as the gutter shrinks and expands as I type
is so distracting that I'm forced to disable the WicketForge plugin
and that's a tragedy given how incredibly useful the plugin is for my
development.
Would it be possible to fix this or perhaps if it's too difficult to
track down, provide an option to disable the class icon? Now that the
other gutter icons are no longer present (removed in 0.9.0), this is
the only wicket related icon left and I don't personally care about
having it (although I'm sure others do).
