how can we manage this? it looks like IDEA doesn't offer a extension point
for our cases.

how to solve within maven project structure. class is in src/main and
markup in src/resources. what if user moves to another package or even to
another module... what if other module doesn't have resources...

not possible. same happens with idea forms, properties (if they are in
different source paths or otherwise not collected in projecttree).
