I think this is a great project with good potential. Please tell me
it's just sleeping and not dead.

Hi Scott,

Dan is not using Wicket since long and lacks time, I'm not using
Wicket either, not even Java.
I have most of the migration to Wicket 1.5 already done but not
committed, well, early betas from more than one year ago, should check
with latest RC. I delayed the commit waiting for a new version of
Databinder, I'm not sure if it is released already.
If you are interested, I'll try to check the migration to latest
1.5 and commit, with or without Databinder support depending on a
suitable Databinder released.

Cheers,

Daniel

Hi Daniel,
Thanks for getting back to me. I am interested in the update and I
might consider picking up where you left off if I decide I'm
competent.
I've been using Wicket with jQuery Mobile and would like to see if I
can
put together a mobile-styled version of WWB.

I opened a project in Eclipse for the head of the repository which
uses Wicket 1.4.13. I'm seeing it wants jars from org.hibernate and
net.databinder. When you have a chance please tell me what the names
and versions are for those dependencies. Is there a reason why they
are not in the pom?

Also, let me know if and when you get the 1.5 betas checked in.

Thanks
Scott

Hi Scott,

There is a main pom and then one for WWB and another for WWB-
Databinder, you should find everything in those poms. I hope I'll be
able to check 1.5 beta in the next few days.

Cheers,

Daniel

Hi Daniel,
I know this isn't a high priority but I'm hoping it won't drop off
your list of tasks permanently.
Thanks
Scott

Hello,

I'd also love to see WWB continued, and I'm ready to invest some time
fostering WWB. Scott, you're not alone... :-)

Regards,
Victor

Two days ago I tested my last uncomitted version, and there are
some changes between 1.5-M3 from over a year ago and 1.5.0 final. I
didn't closely examined all errors yet but at least there were
problems with IBehavior and all ResourceReferences. I'm trying to
clear those one by one because I don't feel like committing
uncompilable code.
In case any of you can help, feel free to contact with your ideas.
Two areas that can benefit from help are docs (issues 21, 23, 36 and
38) and checking the status of Databinder, so that the Databinder
support module can be migrated together.

Cheers,

Daniel
