Good Day Friends

I am very excited to have received my Optimus 22B. It is a petroleum stove that was very easy to get going on benzine. The yellow paint, though quaint, is definitely not original.

As is often the case in our beloved hobby, I need some assistance please.

  1. I would love to get 2 Optimus spindles for controlling the burner valve . I have modified a Radius I had in the meantime.
  2. Is there a close colour match in the RustOleum spray can range that you can suggest?
  3. Would you suggest paint stripper or a mechanical method to remove the old paint?
  4. The fuel tank lid catches on the pot stand when closing. It seems that the fuel tank rotation needs to be more outwards. Could it be that the fuel tubes to the burners require more acute bending?
Thanks in advance,
Johan
