Hi All

There seems to be some debate about what generator to use for these two particular model lanterns. On the 235 the old T44K is no longer available on the market. Some say on forums the 200 or 200a is a good replacement for the coleman 235 since the old T44K caused alot of soet and the mantle did not burn well. Others say coleman 206-5891 generator can be used for the 235.

For the 234 lantern was T66DL generator but this is used in conjunction with coleman fuel.  I want to be able to use kerosene on both lanterns.

So my question is what replacement kerosene generator can I use for these lanterns ?

Many thanks Eldred

The kerosene equivalent generators for the T44 and T66 were the TK44 and TK66 aka T44K and T66K. The DL postfix meant Double Life and was for nickel plated generators.
The TK44 and TK66 are not available any more but the replacement for the TK66 as used on 241/A/G is the common 201 generator.
Replacements for the TK44 are not made by Coleman but the tube of a T44, which is just a common 220/228 generator, can be used in conjunction with the jet and needle of a common 200A generator.
A brass or aluminium spiral from a 201 generator completes your new TK44.

The jamb nut from any 220 or 200A or 201 or 241 will fit both your 234 and 235
