My first pressure lamp! It is a fine working Optimus 930 350 CP. For now I am happy with the replacement Coleman globe, but would like an original. The handle is from a LPG lantern fitting ;).

The lamp is easy to start, and runs for hours without needing to be pumped. I gather this is because of the high running temp.

Very nice, Johan, Werner in Pierre van Ryneveld assisted me to get my Optimus 930 working.

Thanks for the diagrams and pics, I have started to build a folder of pressure lamp files on my laptop!

I wonder whether you have a spirit preheater dosing can or do you have a DIY solution?

There are a few interesting differences between the 300cp and 350cp Optimus 930 lanterns:

-On the 300cp, the spirit cup is permanently fixed to the base plate; on the 350cp, it is separate like the Optimus 200

-The 300cp inner hood and burner are separate from the burner cage; on the 350cp the inner hood and cage is one piece.

-The 350cp has an extra set of holes in the base plate for additional air flow.

-On the 350cp the slots in the collar are vertical and not horizontal.

Warning: Old Post revived.
My Optimus 930 350cp has horizontal slots on the collar, one row of ventilation holes on the frame base, a fixed preheat cup and the innerhood and burner are  separate from the burner cage.
My understanding is that there was an early and later 350 version of the optimus 930.
