Hey guys. I put this on Craigslist, but I thought there might be someone in your circles who might be interested. If you could forward this on to anyone you think might be looking for a TT/triathlon bike, I'd be grateful. I'm asking $2500 for it.
2008 Specialized Transition Comp (size 51 cm)
I've ridden this bike for 3 seasons. It's got about 2,000 miles on it. It's got a few minor, cosmetic scratches. It's structurally sound, clean, and in good working order. It's fairly stiff and very comfortable. Oh, and VERY aerodynamic! Full carbon frame with an integrated carbon fork and integrated brakes. Components are a combination of Shimano 105, Dura Ace, and Ultegra. 53/39 compact crankset and 10-speed cassette (11-28 tooth). I paid about $3,000 for it, new, and would be happy with getting $2,500 out of it. It's a great ride, but I'm looking to make a switch to road racing, and a road bike will work better for that than a time trial bike. This is a great bike for someone looking to get a little more serious with triathlon. I bought it the year I did my first half Ironman, and it served me well.
