I was bummed I couldn't make it!!! I didn't realize it was the weekend
I got back from a 10 day vacation in Vegas, and I agree with Amanda,
that was my favorite race last year, probably because Beth was there
to drag my butt back to the group :) Was there a good showing this
year?!

I bailed at the last minute. Had a little problem with my right hip. It's still acting up. Beth isn't speaking to me now. :-P

To whom it may concern--except for Jamie:

Woo Hoo was better attended than ever before. Wider range of abilities. A
few Cat 1 or 2 women were there and kicked my crony ass. was a sufferfest
for me from the get go, made worse by a totally accidental crash by a young
new rider right before the start (turned around to look at rear wheel and
hit the curb). she ended up with a concussion and had to go to ER. i was, as
usual, a bit distracted when our race began! suffering took my mind off it a
bit!

it began to pour and hail right as our race ended! We waited out the brief
storm and racing continued until the cops showed up due to a noise
complaint. Roger gets no breaks! i had to leave to get back to Wichita but i
think racing was allowed to continue.

Strongly encourage all of you interested in racing to put this on next years
calendar!
