My daughter recently did two things using candle magic. The first was to entice her husband and the second to attract money they've been lacking. No she's not Wiccan and don't know if that matters but can those spells backfire on her because she used them for herself?

As long as its not used with negative energy she should be fine. Ur really not supposed to do anything that is for self gain, but if she was hoping more for her family and not herself then everything should be fine. If u hope for money... U should always realize the sad ways that it might be acquired   As in death  and we can all hope that that will not be the conclusion that it might come to :-(   Always think before u preform any type of ritual
